I've heard a lot of people mention Ozempic as a shortcut for losing weight, but have started to hear more about the side effects and figured I would pass this on. Please be sure to weigh all sides before using shortcuts in life. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1ZerXDdTrv/
Important to know the pros and cons as well as the contrast class. Ozempic vs. healthy lifestyle, diet, and exercise? Probably a loser. Ozempic vs. what the people who take Ozempic would do? Probably a winner. The side effects of obesity are probably worse.
I'm hearing kidney failure, rotting eyeballs, and some other really weird stuff including thyroid cancer. It's made from the venom of the gila monster lizard? could be overblown, but sounds like it's worth letting it be on the market for a few years before even thinking about it. But y'know, lots of fake news out there, so DYOR, etc.
Find the people who do the research. Efficacy and safety of once-weekly subcutaneous semaglutide on weight loss in patients with overweight or obesity without diabetes mellitus-A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials - PubMed
The people paid by pharmaceutical companies to do the research? I’m paying more attention to the people treating the patients with side effects that have no financial incentive. To me, that’s like saying “But Moderna said it was safe” I guess I just don’t think pharmaceutical companies deserve any degree of trust when their profits are on the line
