Coulda fooled me. I’m sports starved, I’m down to watching the US Open of tennis and the WNBA playoffs. Offseason is freaking crawling by.

    There’s always football...

Personally, I hate watching football even though I played in college... so I’m with you Weezy, i.e., completely sports starved! YouTube is my friend as I’m watching old basketball games ...

Tomorrow college games will be worth a watch.

I have found watching women’s soccer to get me through. And I’m all in on Track & Field, and Golf. I’ve survived.

I actually enjoy watching football quite a bit, but pre-season NFL is as much football as MLS is soccer. I watched the World Cup, I can’t watch MLS after that, it’s too much of a step down. I do enjoy golf, but all the majors are over, and I do really enjoy women’s tennis (not so much the men’s because the serves are too fast and because of it you don’t get a lot of rallies), so the US Open has been good. I love playoff baseball, regular season NFL, and NBA anything so at least there’s that to look forward to. This month will slowly lead to all the best sports coming around at the same time, so we just have to wait it out. It’s going to be worth it though, because for the first time in 5 years I EXPECT to make the playoffs this season, and that’s exciting.

Nice pics! I would love to have the chance to be in there and shoot.

That pic with Ingram with the big smile on offense against Travis Wear (?) is great. I thought it was Moe at first talking trash to him and Ingram reacting. If it's Wear though .... looking thick.

OK I'm a passive aggressive a** sometimes with a lingering memory over positions some people take and argue to the death .... when in reality it's 50/50 often who's more correct in their take. But I'll go there.

It's too bad that Ingram Will Never Be Special (Clublakers inside joke) for the recipient of my barb here :) .... with his shooting.

That 39% at the 3 was smoke and mirrors and that was proved because he was afraid to shoot it enough. (presented for some unfathomable reason). Heart in right place though. Came from a Lakers fan.

Loving this vid. Bottom line, we're going to compete this year every game with the roster we've assembled. There are some very hungry vets and very hungry young guns on our team. Not to mention Lebron who will be pushing to prove himself in his new P and G digs. I'm excited. Barring injury we are going to win more than half our games and hopefully vie for the 6-8th spot and the playoffs. After that all bets are off IMO and we have as good a chance as anyone out West not named the Warriors. Our defense will be our calling card and may even get us as far as the WCF.

6-8th seed is like the worst case scenario. I see us vying for 3rd-5th seed...with a small possibility of getting 2nd.

I really hope we can try out a lineup with Ingram at the 2, a great switching lineup with length. Also put beasely as a small ball center. We're 6'7 and up in height, imagine the defense :0

    Lonzo
    Ingram
    LeBron
    Kuzma
    Beasely

man, rondo's a real physical specimen. would have been crazy if he ever developed a reliable shot off the dribble.

    I like

    Rondo
    Hart
    Ingram
    Lebron
    McGree

defensively. Combination of length and athleticism and strength at each position.

You are extremely optimistic and I applaud that. I'm keeping my expectations for the regular season on the lower side. I think it's going to take time for a team like this one with disparate parts that haven't worked together to play cohesively. There's going to be a learning curve. And we only have one superstar player in his prime at this point. We've got vets a little past that and young guns that aren't there yet. The rest of the West is chock full of talent in their prime. It'll be a battle to win those regular season games and teams like the Rockets for example are totally built for regular season wins.

Where I think we'll shine though is in the playoffs after a full season together. Playoff Rondo is a beast. Stephenson can be as well. And we all know about Lebron - last year he was just completely superhuman. I'd rather save the best for last than blow our wad trying to grab a high seed when it's not realistic. I'm just saying, we could be a team that no one wants to face in the playoffs and I do hope we get there and make noise.

All have good to great feet with length. Kuzma, Beasley just need focus on D but both have physical tools to be above average defenders
