Apparently people could still see it while in development, but I'd like to announce we're going to try something different. A new section of the Lakersball forum call LB Analytics! This section is dedicated to in depth discussion concerning stats and stats breakdowns, offensive and defensive play analysis, Salary Cap, and any topic that could use a deeper set of factual knowledge to further understand with intelligent in depth conversation. We have buttons at the top of the page with player stats, team Salary information etc, so you have as much information as possible at hand. As such, I contacted Pete Zayas from Laker Film Room and he was kind enough to let us feature LFR content in this section. NOTE: Here's a few rules for LB analytics.... its not a place to vent WMC or Optimism. Its not a place for a bunch of jokes or Smiles, as such smilies have been disabled in this section alone (Sorry SIrron). As much as possible this new section needs to be about factual discussion. If you post any LFR content, I ask that you always post a link to the direct article or video, and that we click over to his youtube page, or website to give him likes and views as often as possible. Feel free to post any topic that could use deep discussion or an in depth breakdown, and please let me know if there are any problems. - Barnstable View attachment 1365
Super Excited! I'm interested in Analytics, but don't know a lot about them. The "eye test" only gets you so far. So yeah, this is awesome. Thanks @Barnstable and all who helped set this up.
it does and smilies disappear it's a wonderland of mystery and excitement I wonder what else is in store ....hint hint.....
Just me or is there also a MINUTE, uncharacteristic of LakersBall, time lag (woot..woot..danger..danger) when you go into that section? WTF? Over!
Posted LFR's new video in the LB Analytics section, LFR Game Breakdown if anyone is interested: http://lakersball.com/threads/lfr-game-breakdown.2899/#post-214522 Highlights include analysis of BI's 26-point performance, Lonzo's facilitating, and Larry Jr. doing the little things.
LFR's new video focuses on Randle's contributions to the game, the Lakers' overall team effort (both on offense and defense), and outside shooting (featuring Kuz, JC, and KCP). http://lakersball.com/threads/new-lb-analytics-section.2883/#post-214538
