He's barely playing over there right now. Kind of a weird player for us to have our eyes on, isn't it? His 2.1 million is already guaranteed for next year.

Who would we trade to Phoenix for him and why? We've got Black, Davis, Hill, Randle, Sacre, and Boozer right now. How many more PF/Cs do we need?

^ Since he's not getting as much burn maybe Mitch was curious as to the asking price. I like the Plumlee brothers. They're young, athletic and they hustle. Miles averaged 8 & 8 in 24 minutes last year, for the salary he draws, that's good. We like projects...some have worked out better than others. With Hill, Davis, Boozer, and possibly Sacre all gone next year, maybe we're thinking ahead for once. I'd be perfectly ok with him backing up Randle next year.

Miles Plumlee actually won me a few extra games last season in fantasy so I'm familiar with his production. :D

I would definitely take him if we lost out on Davis AND Hill (man I hope that doesn't happen). We still would have Black and Kelly though. We're going to have a pretty crowded front court regardless.

I like that we're hearing more players the Lakers could be interested in though. I hope we're scouting every player in the NBA.

Note the two teams he mentions. The Knicks and Lakers. If you're Sam Amick, how do you generate traffic for yourself for a story on a player like Plumlee? Mention LA and NY. I wonder if NBA writers have like side bets with each other. "Let's see how many hits I can get talking about Miles Plumlee."

Maybe he's been discussed in Dragic deals. With both LA and NY interested in Dragic and now this, that would make sense.
