I don't know if this off season could have realistically been any better. Getting Keef for the minimum because he's sharing an account with his twin's 64 mil bag is hilarious.
The Morris brothers are the perfect symbol of the difference between both teams : - One nicely fits in a team concept , doesn't try to do more than he's asked to - The other has to individually shine , talks BS , acts like a thug and thinks he's better than he really is
Not bad for him. Gets another ship (hopefully), close to his bro and newborn nephew, has a no trade clause, and can get a big bump in pay next off season (probably already discussed).
That joint bank account man. The Clippers got played. Again. Not even a joke, those dudes got hustled by the twins.
They are basically paying $7 million for Kieff and they don't even know it. Kieff and Marcus wanted to be together so had Clippers never offered Marcus that money, Kieff probably looks to be near his brother and join another team. Absolutely hilarious that these two share a damn bank account together. They probably see winning a ring as a mutual achievement as well. Weird but I'll take it, LOL...
Wild to me that we get IMO the better all around player of the twins, yet he gets the minimum and the Clippers had to pay big. This offseason couldn’t have gone much better.
Clippers could not have looked worse than at the point of their prime time choke and melt down in the 2nd round and since then struck out trying to get Rondo or any proven "leader" on that team. And continuing to overpay Marcus Morris after we stole Harrell from them. Meanwhile the Lakers took care of business and won the championship and continue to execute flawlessly (except Dwight) (maybe) and just got magnitudes stronger and remained classy the whole time doing it. Like you say above regarding our now ex players.
