Yeah, I'd even go as far as offering him the max.

This is why I'm here now. Trading Luka was the most ridiculous move they could have made. Initially when it happened I thought that surely they (Nico) knows something we don't. But, once the stuff starting coming out from Grimes and others I started to doubt the Mavs. Then, once I saw Luka get back into form and look great I knew Nico just lied to everyone. There is nothing wrong with Luka.

Luka is right back to playing great. His defense is NOT as bad as the narrative. He is "THAT" guy. On the court he wants to mentally destroy the opponent. He has that KOBE/MJ mentality of making sure they know who owns them.

After more than 20 years following the Mavs I'm a Lakers fan for good.

Luka vs Dorian. If you ever wondered about the actual skill level of the NBA player (let alone a superstar) -- here it is:

Terrible shooting night. But had 5 or 6 almost and-1s roll out on him. Could've still easily had 30 on a night like that.

On the other side, fantastic distribution game. 14 dimes.

    Funny guy

Who cares now? The trade was done, we need to win a championship, before taking victory laps, and continually dumping on the Mavs. We are the Lakers, we get super stars, this is what we are known for, besides collecting chips. I imagine that Milwaukee, probably still regrets, that they traded us Kareem.

    Oh well, s*** happens.

Is the poor shooting related to conditioning on the 2nd night of a back to back game? That would make sense.

His ankle has to be pretty bad after the Suns player fell into it .

Went from ankle soreness to ankle sprain on the injury report

TBH ..Luka looks like he's always looked, physically right? A bit chubby, that's the guy I seem to remember in Dallas. I admit that I didn't follow him that closely, besides a few national telecast games, and games against us, and the playoffs. However he looks pretty much like, the same guy to me.

he's a bit heavier now than in say, his rookie year, but no, it's the dramatic difference everyone suggested (and some keep suggesting). he's a large, wide dude. most nba players are built like twigs with tiny waists and really thin limbs. luka is thick, solid.

Ok..I was starting to think, that I was missing something here. I remember when the Rockets got Harden, he was kind of slim and fit, but he eventually just got fat. It didn't seem to be the same thing with Luka to me.
