Lakers are a physically intimidating team..
Randle, Mosgov, Black & Nance can stand up to anyone..

Our backcourt has size too.. I like it..

DAR, JC and Calderon are 6'5
Our bigs are athletic except for Mozgov but he makes it up with size.
    Ingram is freakishly long.
Nick is pretty decent sized to be playing the two.

We can matchup pretty well with almost anyone if they go small or big, and it's hard to play bully ball against us.

Yup. Have been saying the same thing. It's great to again be able to play physical teams and know we can hang and bang with them but still run the hell out of them for 48 minutes with the amazing bench we have and solid rotations and minutes management from Luke.

^Agree that we can play any kind of style whoever is out on the floor. The current personnel is adaptable and interchangeable. Smith on TNT commented on how there is no drop off when one player is subbed for another for all positions. He noted our versatility and depth.

To think Russell still has yet to hit his stride and then there's Zu that will develop into a viable player...

Mosgov has always been one of the stronger guys in the league & I'm more than happy with his play so far, especially in the pick & roll offense.

It feels like Luke is ingraining a "Draymond Green" swagger into Randle.. He's getting in the face of some pretty Big Dudes (Chandler, Cousins) and not backing down at all.. In fact, he's instigating it.

I'm just loving what i'm seeing I said before the season started they would win 35 - 40 games who knows they might do a bit better the way there playing. The last few years have been tough but god dammit i Love my lakers. And I'm having fun watching them again i don't give a f*** if they only win 30 games and don't make the playoffs. They are playing with heart and thats all that matters to me. Plus there fun to watch. Back in the early 90's i knew they would never win it all but god i loved watching them play Nick, Eddie, Cedric! I miss hearing the forum chanting EDDIE EDDIE ! Good times.

Lol. I still remember Elden Campbell and Sean Rooks being half asleep on the bench.

Glen Rice was one of my favorite players we got for our championship runs. That's what we need now, that cash money records shooter.

And could never catch a pass with those tiny hands. He was on that 04 Pistons Squad, you could tell just how much he was loving beating the Lakers whenever they panned to him on the bench.

Let's not forget Sedale Threatt. That guy used to fill it up and carried the team in the years immediately after Magic

Campbell was nicknamed Easy E and not because he made plays look easy either...

I'm 36 so i was like 12 - 15 during those early 90's playoff runs with eddie and nick etc... And man I can remember yelling at campbell as a kid like what are you doing. He would always lightly jog getting back on defense all the time...

I like Clarkson and he's played well this season, but I was just thinking about this during yesterday's game: during the offseason, there were pictures of him training where he looked like he bulked up like crazy. I thought he was about to take a leap into Westbrook territory in terms of his athleticism and explosiveness. Or at least have the increased size and strength to attack the rim more effectively. Not to say that he's bad at it now, but from those pictures I thought he'd be even better. Yet when you look at him on the court, if anything it looks like he lost a little mass and definition.

Agree with this reply. Jordan has definitely taken his game to a higher, more agressive and even more athletic level, including his defense. Insanely fast in the open court when he pushes it. Always attacking whenever he sees a sliver of daylight to the rim. Stronger for sure.
