I wanted to thank everyone on Lakersball.com for spring boarding the show for me and I wanted to thank the producer of the show, Gerald Glassford for trusting me in being a part of the show. Our numbers are steadily going up and the content is also steadily getting better and better. Gerald does a great job promoting Game Time and the site, on the podcast. I would start to prepare for an influx of new posters in the next 6 months to a year as the show continues to get traction. The commentary shows some aggressiveness. More than any Lakers Podcast that I see out there. With that, I feel that extra juice will interest an audience that want to see a little more than just a couple people with mono-toned voices yapping about what the Lakers are doing. I do not want it to be fake banter like those clowns on ESPN or Skip and Shannon Sharpe. I want it to be real people connecting to real stuff with real information to back it up. So far, Gerald has allowed us freedom to do that and it is working wonders. I started this thread so there is a spot for all of you to easily access the show during the live podcast and for those who want to watch it after we are off air. For those of you on Facebook, you may LIKE the Lakers Fast Break page here: https://www.facebook.com/LakersFastBreak. Facebook will obviously send an alert once we go live, so you will know when the show starts that way. When you connect live, you can post questions or make comments and we usually answer right away as questions and comments come in. I'll probably recognized most of you by your LB names so come on it and say something and I'll be sure to talk smack with you.... I'll have more links to Spotify and Apple as well once I get them. Gerald has been able to cater access to almost all the platforms so no one is left out I know some don't have Facebook, or Spotify or Apple, so by having them available in all areas, there is a better chance all of you will have at least one of them to access. Gerald is working on a live YouTube channel, but for now, I'll leave the link on this thread after every show is completed and edited so you can watch the show on YouTube at your convenience. the other dude needs to build out his basement and mix in some drywall lol. I wish I had to the patience to listen to stuff like this to support your efforts more. I was one of the main proponents of you doing this, and here I am not listening in. Maybe because it's we suck so bad it feels pointless to talk about it even more and rub salt in the wound.
The last show I posted was the highest viewership ever for the show. The losses seem to draw more viewers for some reason. I also think it's just different than the other shows. We have a guy playing a guitar in a cellar. We have a guy who coached and was around when Jerry West and Wilt were playing. Gerald knows everything about everything and then me who starts forest fires everywhere. Good Ole American entertainment.
I’m really glad Gerald came on here and asked if anyone wanted to join him. Little did he know he’d get a great addition to the show like Ox. You guys really have a good show there and I appreciate that you don’t do fake banter like a lot of sports shows. This Lakers season sucks, but you’re building something worthwhile for the future with Lakers Fast-Break.
It's actually a funny angle because Gerald uses his hand alot so it looks like he's towering over the audience and crushing you down while talking. Most of us look like we are sitting on a toilet with the fan off and mute when you flush.
