he'll stay in the Land and experience hell on Earth, you know, repeating his worst day over and over again, that is, losing in the Finals.
He will be in his 16th season , probably his last at his current level ... unless we have another top5 -top 10 on our roster , it's not the best idea but we have been absolutely horrible for 4 years so we can't be THAT picky
The idea is to have LeBron AND another max player who is almost certainly Paul George. That is the grand master plan according to me, the Devil's Advocate. I devised a plan where we keep Ingram, Ball, Russell, and Randle and still have enough room for LeBron and George. How do they fit? Don't worry about it. They'll win.
therealdeal has my back No harm, LT. all good. I still think LBJ cares about his image deep down and wouldn't be able to live with himself not being able to go back home to CLE because he left that team a 2nd time.
This would be like watching your most hated enemy marry the girl you are in love with. Sure you want her to be happy, but deep down you want it to end, in a flaming death spiral.
Kinda like Matt Barnes is probably feeling about Fish these days. Fish is fortunate Matt was in Cleveland at the time. His wife is one thing but his expensive SUV rolled on the side of a freeway??!!
Looking back at the original article, it points out that George is a better player than Irving and Love. I'm not so sure that's true of Irving. George hasn't hit a Finals winning 3 pointer before for one thing. And Kyrie has had 38 and 40 point games in this series now. He's also only 25 and not even in his prime yet, why would LeBron want to leave that? If anything the Cavs could dump Love and try to lure George there to play SG, giving them the best 1-3 in the league.
I think it would be cool for the league if George went there for a year even IF his heart is set on us which seems to be. With that being said I'd root for George to light it up and the Cavs to still lose lol.
Why would James leave Easy Street (i.e. Eastern Conference) and join/lead an unproven group of youngsters in the tough West? Doesn't make a lick of sense. James is on record saying he will not move again because he finds it tiring.
