? I don't get what you are saying here. Vaccinated only means that you shouldn't, get as sick as you would ,if you were unvaccinated. What does being quarantined have to do with 10 years from now? Fully vaccinated people can still pass Covid-19 on to someone else.

i think he's saying it's time we accept that covid will be around forever and start treating it like we would any kind of flu

That will eventually happen. Most likely. But even if he had a flu, you probably would not want him around your other players, and he would not be able to play or contribute much anyway.

Covid is much more deadly than the flu though. It's killed a lot more people in the US and world wide. I wouldn't consider them as similar.

if more people were vaccinated, we could treat it more like the flu because its impact would be more like the flu.

to me, this is the really interesting part of the pandemic's impact. people talk about the michael jordan flu game, and post-pandemic, i'm like--man, did he give that to everyone on the floor? i'd be pissed!

i used to pride myself on basically never missing work because i wasn't thinking about the fact that i might be making everyone sick.

obviously, there's a point at which you can become overconcerned, but i'd say american society (myself included) has generally erred on the side of underconcern.

anyway, in this case, the league's policies are clear, and if you don't want to miss time, you need to be actively minimizing exposure risk. i'm guessing lebron wasn't, and now he gets to try and win his next title from the 6th seed.

Might not be out as long. 1 test down, 1 to go.

Frankly, I would be too. I don't want someone with the flu breathe in my face , sweating all over me. Come on, man.

Right? If AD has a flu, I am telling him to go home and get better. Or risk half my team getting sick

of course, i never said it's the same as the flu. but at some point that's how it'll be. this virus isn't going away

could've already been happening if enough people were vaccinated though

I think it came out that it was not the flu game but the bad food game. From the Last Dance; Jordan got late night (i.e. 3am) pizza delivered and didn't feel good GI was after that.

Upon review, it was determined that Covid flopped. Does Dwight still start?

Alright, let's get healthy now with a full squad, showing us what we can do with Ariza and Kendrick Dunn in the mix. Cut back on the big 3's minutes.

Wonder if ESPN regrets pulling the plug on the game before that was decided.
