    I know Rich Paul has stated that Lebron ain’t playing for the minimum anywhere, but Lebron did previously say he would take a pay cut to play with Bronny.

    Considering the Lakers drafted his son, it would be nice if LeBron took a Tim Duncan/Dirk level pay cut so we have more roster flexibility.

    I mean, what else would he do if the Lakers don’t offer him the max? Threaten to leave when we have Bronny on our roster?

    Bron demanding the max at his age isn't a great look

    Us being willing to pay it, admirable, but not very logical Except he's a cash cow on ticket sales. Let's see if he can continue to adjust his game to succeed without the ball in his hands.

    they think it's kobe part II. now, kobe did take a cut (but a small one, not like dirk/duncan). anyway, the logic is that it's an investment in the post-lebron world--that other stars see this and think jumping here mid-career is a good idea (*cough* anthony edwards *cough*).

    I’ve been hoping that he sees the Lakers drafting Bronny and even just being willing to offer the max, as enough of a show of good faith that he decides to take a significant enough paycut to open up the full NTPMLE, allow us to re-sign Prince and Christie with enough room under the apron, etc

    But I really don’t see it happening
