Son, let’s get you off page 2. Competed his a** off tonight. Needed him to help AD vs the Bucks huge bigs Giannis, Lopez and Portis, and he delivered.
Need more on the glass, but had really good energy and activity. Seeing a little of the two big lineups were a pleasant wrinkle against a bigger Bucks team.
I really like Hayes. Great energy off the bench and a really nice change up for length and vertical threat. I want to keep him… as a 3rd string center. I still feel backup center is the top priority this summer for the team. At this point I’m pretty happy with the rest of the lineup. Minus Ham’s lineups, play calling, and substitutions of course.
Props! HUGE role in the 3rd Q push to make a game of it again. He and DLO had a really nice two man game working.
he's gotten better as the season has worn on, imo. curious to see what he'll do with his player option. i could see teams offering him a bit more and a bigger role. overall, his defense has been steadily improving over time, but his offense hasn't really caught up.
I think he'll get the mini- mid from somewhere and a larger role. Cause he knows he'll be involved in splitting minutes with another backup C if he stays.
Our big rotation can’t be Woods and Hayes again, it can’t, a trade needs to be made. Plus if Reddish opts in, with Knecht, Bronny, and if we re-sign Max, we have no roster spots..
He and Wood need to go, ASAP. He can finish lobs well, but that’s about it. I was hoping he could have improved his defense… Of the two, I would prefer Wood since he did show flashes of being okay offensively off the bench, but both are third stringers at this point.
