I never really liked the stocky body type, I thought it hindered him. good job this summer losing bulk
weird that he has so little in the way of hops. he looks like an athlete, but he's just not super athletic. he can make up for that with great positional size like chauncey billups did. he'll never be that level of shooter, though. all of this is ok, as he was a mid-first round draft pick.
i thought we'd seen that one already? anyway, the most troubling part was the commentary about his role being in question now that bronny is here. i'd like to interpret that positively (bronny exceeding expectations), but that would be a pretty bad thing. but that's just the poster's speculation. hopefully, jhs stays healthy and gets more reps in the g league, and if gabe or dlo gets hurt, he makes the most of his chance to run the point on the big squad. i don't it's realistic to expect him to crack the rotation this year if those guys are healthy, though.
I don't think that one had been put up, and yes it's really nothing compared to the prior one last page showing him hitting 23 or whatever straight 3s from the corner.
ah, i must have come across it elsewhere. i remember remarking that he's not super explosive there. i'm not that concerned about it, though. i'm concerned about the back injury.
Bronny is not a PG, so I can't see that being an issue at all. Hopefully we get to see some real player development with our young guys. Maybe both are in the G League for most of the year to really get ready to play a role in the coming years. Feels like neither will be all that ready to play big minutes with the varsity yet, but I'm sure both will get some burn. Bronny will HAVE to play with Lebron for historical purposes. And we need to see what we have with JHS and progress after he was Hammified last year and set back with injuries, etc.
i think both are definitely in the g league for large chunks of the year. it's a little concerning that there are already extensive discussions about how and when father and son will play together when you have more invested in a recent first round draft pick at a similar position (bronny's best defensive position will probably be at the pg).
If he can actually develop into a reliable backup PG that would he huge for us. Hopefully being healthy and an entirely new coaching staff can start him off fresh
That’s two catch and shoot 3s from the corner videos on our point guard pick JHS so far this off season. I thought Ham was gone.
agree that the mechanics don't look great. but i guess if they go in... my issue is that his threes were falling last year in the g league. so i'm not sure it was broken?
