I wish I know what JJ had to do with being a registered person of a party in the US though. Kidding, I don’t care to joke about politics on here. Too bad it became a thing though. I feel like we all know that doesn’t matter anymore. whatever. Anyways, still curious what is going to happen this off-season and what JJ is going to do with everything.
Going to be some crazy good energy this year. And am sure there’s a trade or 2 coming to make us even better.
Another press conference win for him today. Nice job having Bronny's back and saying that he earned his spot here. Whether you buy it or whether JJ buys it, not important to that moment. There was, as expected, a lot of Bron related questions for Bronny. So it was a nicely placed verbal pat on the back and encouragement for his rook.
i'm cautiously optimistic on jj. i feel like he's going to vibe with the front office and the players in ways ham didn't.
You need talent to win in the NBA. Not a guy that can read “The Little Engine That Could” motivation book to players.
After the hack job Ham did all season to land us in the first round against the defending champs in Denver, key injuries to our "planned for" two point of attack defenders in Vando and Vincent making them unavailable basically the whole year ..... we still played them strong and were ahead more minutes in the entire series than they were. That's not "NO" talent. Redick is hardly the caricature you made there. He is going to be a huge improvement over the job that Ham did for us in preparation, schemes and with help from the ex head coaches .... in game management. We have improved on that talent, just so far, with whatever deals come between now and the start of the season or by the deadline .... still to come. Improvements: (usual caveat like every other team .... with full roster health) 4th year Reaves under the perfect coach for him, and Russell too, for that matter, having been an elite shooting 2 guard himself and the scheming to duplicate what puts these types of players in best positions to succeed. Vando available again. Huge improvement. Vincent available. Will help ... IS an improvement over non availability last year. Hachimura ..... was talked about by Redick as part of his plan to get him rebounding this year, by scheme alone, and SHOULD be a better player by virtue of own continued improvement, IMO, YMMV ...... and under Redick than Ham most definitely. Dalton Knecht!!! This guy is going to be a huge improvement for our bench and capable of playing in the league immediately as a rotation player and a dependable scorer. Mature body and literally the equivalent of a top 5 lotto pick in this draft. Redick >>>>>>>>> Ham in getting better performance out of ALL the role players is MY prediction.
What has that got to do with this team? If you mean you were right and I was wrong …. granted. But IMO you’ve gone off the deep end with the no talent talk.
This team is going to blow a**. There is nothing to talk about there. I can write a long list of why but it should be obvious. I’m gonna be on my podcast at 3:30 PST today. I’ll explain. Come check it out… www.YouTube.com/lakersfastbreak
Could be a train wreck or a feel good story, or something in between. It's a Hollywood script, so they seem to be creating must watch TV. I wouldn't be surprised if they hire a camera crew to document year 1 of the JJ experience.
