NOTE: The government is cracking down on internet gun sales, so please do not advertise or inquire about selling or trading any guns here. Thanks!

Anyone here own guns (or other lethal weapons) ??

I have been a big Glock fan for years, but decided to buy something new. I purchased a Springfield XDM 9mm for conceal carry. Gun ownership is a responsiblity, so I bought myself a safe to store it in. I plan to take the Conceal Carry course at the end of the month.

Here's a picture of the pistol.

I don't have that laser. My plan is to buy a light / laser combo. In this picture it has the 19 round magazine. Also came with a 13 round mag. They sell a 32 round one, but I'll hold off on that until I get the light / laser.

I took it out this weekend shooting at a range and had very consistent grouping, but to the left. I've read that that is a grip issue (me, not the gun), so I need to get back in there and work it out.

I've always liked 1911's. Just a gorgeous classic firearm. Never fired one though.

    Love the Sigs.

It literally feels like the grip was molded for your hands.

I'm trying to get a .357 but I just have so much going on I can't justify the cost. I just love the feel of a revolver. Classic and powerful. After that I've been looking for a cost effective home defense kind of weapon, maybe a Ruger or an FNH.

Any of you guys have recommendations on affordable handguns?

Just a basic pistol at a low cost by a reputable maker? Smith and Wesson Shield. About $300. Most guns stores have a hard time keeping them in stock because of the cost to quality ratio.

That's pretty wildly low. I'll look into it. I definitely haven't seen it around my local stores. Plus most of my local stores are jerks and either wouldn't sell me a gun or would try to sell me a very expensive gun like a sucker.

Pretty small, but good for conceal carry. Just under $400 at Academy Sports and Bass Pro Shops.

Bass Pro shops is basically my last hope to buy a weapon in Southern California.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check it out.

I'm planning on moving back to California. Not sure how I'm gonna handle the 10 round limit or the lack of conceal carry.

While I don't think Trump will win, he has said he wants all states to allow conceal carry.

Conceal carry in California is almost impossible. I only know one citizen who isn't a PI or was/is an officer of some kind that has it. It's incredibly easy to get your handgun permit, but almost impossible to carry. Completely backwards.

If you've got weapons over 10 rounds already though it's okay as long as they're registered. My dad has an old Baretta that holds 15 I think.

Got mine for around $600 including DROS and taxes, so not bad. They're definitely really durable.

I own two Glock .40s and two Mossberg 590 shotties. I don't fire them as often as I should, but I'm still ready for the Zombie Apocalypse.

    Why two of each?

I picture you with a gun belt with one on each hip like the Wild Wild West
