I really hope Russell stays on this team and we get to see him develop, but if he does miss these last two games and gets traded in the off-season for some reason. That was his last shot as a Laker

Kudos to Magic and Rob for making DLO get up early in the morning for the interview.

I see what you did there. :Fishwink:

Hopefully DLO plays better on early Sunday games next year.

Reporters asked him basketball questions and personal questions about his grandmother's passing. I'll stick to basketball answers.

    1) Magic and Rob want him to work on his consistency, leadership, and improving his body.

    2) D'Angelo believes that he is a natural leader, but his inconsistent play keeps him from being to able to earn respect in the locker room. He wants to improve his consistency so that he can be the leader he believes he can be.

    3) He believes that he did a better job during the season of learning when to get teammates involved and when to score himself. Making better decisions is neccessary for him to improve his consistency.

    4) He thinks that our poor record doesn't show how much the team grew and improved. He's optimistic about next season.

improving his body: yes. he's a bit doughy for a 20 year old guard.

and i'm still curious about his inconsistency. it's not of the normal young player variety, wherein you just don't have the skill portions of the game some nights. he seems mentally checked out in like, a quarter of the games.

not to beat a dead horse, but off court problems could cause both of the above.

    get him a babysitter.

Though star potential you trade him if absolutely necessary, not BI. Ever.

Lakerman, you and I would get a long very well. I am still mad at God for taking him so early. He then rewarded me by taking Charlie Murphy last week.
