This is good. They are making room for more than PG. Partly blame Jimmy and Mitch for those ship anchoring contracts in Mosgov and Deng on their way out. To get that crap out of here required a sweeter piece (DLO) to be included.

I kept saying if we traded Russell we'd get pennies on the dollar for him and I honestly think that just happened. Sigh. We better bring in George now.

Not the WojBomb I was expecting.

Really wanted to see a Russell-Ball backcourt.

Silver lining is we don't have Mozgov's awful contract anymore.

Was my favorite non-Kobe Laker. I guess Ingram is that guy now.

We rated Russell higher than others did, right or wrong. You're value is only worth what others are willing to pay.

I'm really not understanding this trade. This has to mean Paul George is in Purple and Gold today.

Man I feel worse about this by the minute. I guess Magic truly didn't like Russ. I can't understand this move, maybe teammates weren't fond of him either? Struggling to come up with something here to explain this. I dreaded the idea of giving away a core piece to clean up a Mitch/Jim mess of a contract and they went and did it. I want to get better, I want to win, but we aren't winning now with the Warriors as they are, what's the rush, where's the patience?

If this is a trade to create room for NEXT year's free agency period, I'll be more livid than I am now. WTF

Is Clarkson a keeper then? I mean... who do we dangle for Paul George now. We gonna rely on Nick Young for the SG spot???

guess Dlo was Evan Turner 2.0, not talent but same scenario, giving up on to soon. Wouldn't surprise me he doesn't peak out far from where he's been the last 2yrs though. Otherwise I dont see how mgmt. would give up on him this cheaply.

Magic spent time with DLO. You have to conclude he wasn't impressed with what he was saying or doing. I trust Magic and Pelinka's judgement. DLO screwed himself too. Now he's in purgatory.

Russell could have AT LEAST commanded a Top 15 pick.

The team and most of the fan base has complained about Russell from the moment he arrived. We killed any value he might have had.

Really think we should have given it one more go round to let him increase his value and get a better deal but I guess the team had enough. Timing makes little sense to me unless we are sending the pick in a package for George
