100%. I'm a long distance runner and most people in the running community would rather break a bone than sprain an ankle. Sounds insane, I know. But ankle sprains have a way of lingering a frustratingly long time.

 

The high ankle sprains linger for months I've broken ankles and sprained mine so many times while playing makes your foot feel like it's wrapped in cement becomes heavy and any move hurts

 

It's not just us, its been a problem for many teams all season. Lack of transparency for injuries and just bad timeline announcements

 

I had a bad one in college that took 5 weeks of rehabbing in my parents pool to get back to a slight jog.

 

i had two separate sprains back when i played that the doctor was like, "you'd have been better off breaking it" or something to this effect. i sprained tons of ankles, and most of them i could play on within a week. but those took months. one of them i injured in the summer and was still having to load up on nsaids to play in the season opening games for my high school in november. it was fun, though, because i played on it in a select summer league and looked like crap so all the opposing scouts thought i sucked and i got to kick their a** in the first meetings.

i digress. but yes, ankle sprains vary tremendously. that said, dlo's didn't look that bad. i suppose if he was pushing off to run there it added some force, but all my worst ones were more like AD's oop attempt--where i was way off the ground and landed on a foot. ja morant terrifies me constantly.

 

Is he playing? Former team revenge?

 

yeah, i was really hoping he'd be available for this one because i thought he'd want to hand them the L personally.

 

Man I hope they don't rule him out for Sunday...2 days in advance...

I wish he could have played both of his former teams in b2b games. Feel like he would have really gotten up for these ones...

 

Is KAT still out with something? That would help tremendously.

 

Pretty obvious but they need him back ASAP with Lebron out.

Just not enough offensive firepower when your missing 2 out of 3 playmakers against good NBA teams. The rest of the roster is designed to play off of these guys

 

Gotta be ready sunday or else it's looking like a 3 game losing streak

Exactly. Need him back if we’re going to get over the hump and get to the play in.

 

He won't take any risk as he's due for another contract ....

 

That ankle injury really took the air out the sails.... le sigh

 

Draymond will find a way to "accidentally " step on that ankle sometime during the game Sunday.
