He might be good after a couple years of development. Our FO being really dumb with their lower level talent contracts is a separate issue. We couldn’t upgrade our roster this summer because of it. I really don’t understand all the frustration directed towards Bronny. We knew this was going to be a thing for years. This is the kind of nonsense we will continue to have to just deal with while LeBron is here. I hope the kid proves us all wrong.
So true haha. By the way, I am sure Bronny totally cares what some dude, who probably never played one minute of professional basketball, has to say about his game on the internet. Some people should really get a life. Bronnie may never be a good NBA player, but the hate is totally over the top. I see some potential there and am willing to give him at least this season to show whether / how much he can improve. He has some tools on the defensive end and seems to be a bright, hard working young man. Something tells me he'll turn out better than at least some of the guys drafted before him and even if not, I am not going to loose sleep over it.
No matter how bad he ever ends up sucking, he’s set for life and didn’t have to get Diddied to do it. Winner. but he has a lot to learn to be useful to us it appears.
that video guy just sucks. i get that he's built a brand on freaking out about every play, but i'm not going to help him. half the time, he's wrong, imo.
low? mind your own business. i'm sure your second round pick will be out of the league in a couple years, too. but you have the luxury of everyone forgetting about it because nobody cares about your team. your argument is that bronny would have fared better in memphis or minny or whatever? or if he went back to college? whatever. the fact that you could be bothered to comment is kinda funny in itself. you were "shocked" that the son of an all-time great wasn't an all-time great? you been living under a rock, dip****? exactly. when did bronny or anyone else claim he was going to be an nba superstar? "setting him up for failure"? with a 4-year guaranteed nba contract? yay for him? which would you rather? pretty much. most second rounders wash out. we took a league and franchise icon's son with a super late pick and gave him the salary his father gave up in his re-up. article title: set up for failure. get better at writing. another level-headed take buried by the tone/lede. ...hopefully while not having any bridges to burn... anyway, pretty bad writing and a lot of it.
I think people are being unfair to Bronny. It’s easy to criticize a young guy who just got into the league and label him a "daddy's boy" without giving him the chance to prove his worth. I believe in him...
What would Kobe do Bronny? Ask Pops. Hell ask Pops what he does when stuff's not working right. Put in the LONG hours working physically and practicing on your own time and fix it. It'll come. Your pride is going to kick in here, I would imagine.
Never let the facts and basketball get in the way of Jeanie making more millions- she really needs more because of the hyper inflation.
It’s crazy how I can go weeks at a time without hearing about Bronny outside of this site. Nobody is worrying about the 55th pick of the draft. It’s almost as if the embarrassment only comes from within the Lakers fandom and rage bait morning shows.
