Problem is -- 2 of them are basically the same player prototype and the third one used to be more, but is old.
I’m sorry, I don’t see the problem. Luka gets to learn from one of the best ever to run a team. I’m dumbfounded how many here can paint this trade as anything but miraculously positive for our Franchise that puts us in contention for the next 8-10 years.
It's not a problem. Or if it is, it's a good one to have in terms of having three amazing passers on the team. I'm nowhere near as gung ho as you about the trade as I really loved what AD brought to the team (and Max) and I'll miss those guys. I'm not as much of a Luka fan as a lot of folks here are. But that said, it was definitely the smart play and right move by our FO to do the trade. It sets up us immediately post Lebron with a superstar who is only 25 years old. It had to be done once it was on the table. I will absolutely agree about that.
LeBron’s post-game interview was also kind of subdued, didn’t speak much on Luka, just very matter of fact. Probably just trying to not look to outwardly happy with AD being gone, or maybe genuinely still processing it.
Max and Reaves were becoming a really dynamic young backcourt. And I miss AD immensely already so I can’t imagine how his teammates must feel, especially LeBron and Reaves.
Read the comments. Even the Reaves trolls are becoming more scarce …. fans are wising up to how valuable a player he is to this team and winning basketball.
