Looked like he tried a similar move earlier in the game but lost the ball. If at first you don't succeed... also DLO is a character Solid line. Some really cold 3s mixed in there too.
Love AR for the way he handled that. Humor. As an un-athletic guy he went a long time. It'll happen again; tryna take a charge. He got posterized on a night when Ant POSTERIZED, almost killed John Collins. It was an insane dunk and Collins might have a case to charge Ant with attempted murder. No but seriously. You've all already seen it. But in case not:
Glad Collins didn't get concussed: they at first assumed he had a concussion and now it's a "bruised head." Ant takes off and his other hand gets him in the face, then maybe Ant's lower leg gets him? It might've been called a charge but wasn't. I don't anyone could watch that and now be astonished and/or horrified. AR content: that steal of the ATL inbounds pass, wrap-around no-look to Bron for dunk was schweet!
It was Woike DLO's face during the question is great. Speaking of DLO, few are as lucky to have such a big cheerleader for them...
This guy throws some brilliant passes!! So do LeBron and DLO. It’s fun to have that kind of talent for passing on the floor together.
too bad it translates to 9th place. Be cool if nice passes led to a better place in the standings We once had a fancy passer that had us to the Finals nearly every year he played. Real GOAT talk.
Wonder how 39 year old Magic would have done with his fancy passing with this roster? And then here's a little dose of reality as well.
i was talking to my dad today about this: lebron, reaves, and dlo are super high iq/intuitive players. but none of them can keep a ballhandler in front of them. this is why the cam/vando/vincent injuries have been so costly. and i do think things could have been quite different without those injuries because having three guys who can shoot and pass like that on offense is pretty unusual. a lot of the best teams in the league only have two, at best, tbh. boston--the *vomits* best team in the league--has zero, one could argue. denver has two and the right complements defensively (specifically, kcp and gordon) to make it work. we're not as far off as the record indicates. but what do you do with that? more germane to this thread--how do you maximize reaves's (abundant) talent and translate that into winning? my vote is probably still to play him as ginobili, paired with a defensive guard in a good chunk of his minutes. alternatively, you can go with our AD/lebron/vando/reaves/dlo lineup as the starting (but not closing) standard. curious to see how the FO sees it.
KCP with Reaves would be so f***ing sick. Caruso too but KCP has such a nice combo of a good jumpshot and defense with AR. Weird but Dinwiddie is providing this. Throw the Kings game out but this has been been good as long as they have one of their wing defenders around
