What I like about Skip, is his brother is a really good chef, his name is Rick. Super nice dude, very down to earth and the best part .... ???? ...... they don't get along at all. They are as opposite as opposite could be.
I think he was instructed by the stations to be a punk on purpose to get more ratings, he can’t possibly be that dumb when he says some of the stuff that he says . The guy is like McDonald’s! He is gross but every once in a while the McRib comes around.
Random fact: I just found out today that the McDonalds in the Philippines don’t have: McRib McBoo Shamrock shake Nugget sauce besides BBQ and Sweet & Sour Not that I ever eat there. Just things I learned. but they do have BFF fries They are like 2x the large fries and they have Fried Chicken and rice meals, spaghetti meals, and a couple other things you don’t see stateside.
That's lit! Really love these podcast interviews with players. Always see these from All the Smoke, Podcast P or JJ Redick one. You really get to know the person behind the player and understand their journey (which explains a lot of things). Yesterday finished the Haliburton one and he looks like a nice kid, he will be great. Looking forward to see this one
Matt Barnes has really done well in media once out of the game. From the perceived as thug days and hated here from trying to make Kobe flinch, as an opponent, on that out of bounds play with him jabbing the ball inches from Kobe’s face. He was semi great on the Lakers but kept getting hurt right before the playoffs if I recall right.
Yes I’m really surprised that both Matt and Perkins are doing well in the media. I’m would have never guessed that when they were playing.
I actually really like Perkins as a commentator. I haven’t listened enough to Barnes. He was a very good defender and streaky offensive player for us- kinda like a stretched out KCP. I do remember him battling a lot with injuries while in the Purple and Gold.
