One big takeaway form this season is Austin Reaves production, growth and development. Build on this next year, kid. Kudos to the Lakers scouting department.

Really cool to see. Great rookie journey for him.

AR and Monk are close. We need Austin to start working on him now, convincing him to stay.

Way to sign off on a first-season kid. It was all our non-drafted, G-League players (and Monk) that were the surprise of the season and kept my interest in watching games alive. Westbrook made me want to stop watching altogether.

Team chemistry doesn't seem to be a problem unless Westbrick is somehow involved :RW Barfbag:

Love this kid, so glad he’s locked up for next season. One of maybe a handful of bright spots this season.

Not a chance in hell IMO after the mistake and uproar over losing Caruso. Laker Nation will burn that Crypt down if they do. They should keep all these kids if any way possible. Reeves, THT, Johnson, Gabriel and Monk. All of a sudden we're young and energetic and exciting again, with good experience .... to complement and support our two stars. If they can stay healthy enough. Johnson's a revelation too with his growing repertoire of demonstrated offensive skills. That's if Rob is smart and not forced into or makes more bad decisions losing even more promising young talent.

Yeah I’m sure they’ll take into account your feelings when there’s another Muscala deal available

The problem is as I see it is that our scouts for these talents are great but when it comes to pay-time Rob isn't smart enough to lock anyone up for 3-4 years so we are forced to pay or let them go. And when we do pay, it's too early (THT) and they aren't worth it yet. We could easily have had Caruso this season and next for cheap if Rob had gave him 4 years. Or a 3+1 team option.

    This kid :h:

What a bright spot in this s*** hole. Remember when Vogel didn't played him because it was a playoff game? Lol

Really happy for him, he deserved a game like this.
Hope he's locked in in our rotation next year. 20+ minutes
