    Very proud of them for learning and at least consulting Coach K instead of keeping it all in house. But if you're asking a Dukie his thoughts, my money is him being very favorable towards the program's all time leading scorer -- JJ Redick.

    Interesting the Alien has joined the mix of candidates.

    Also they say this hire is more about AD than Bron.

    Well, with JJ as the potential coach and Coach K as a consultant... we might be moving in the interesting direction at least. I do agree with Elgin above. Acknowledge you have some internal issues and try to solve as many as possible. You can't ignore these problems forever.

    Not thrilled with Cassell. He's in too similar a spot and comp to Ham before he was hired.

    Ok..So NOW.. we plan on hiring a coach, that is going to be around, for the next 5-7-10 years huh? Meaning.. if we don't make the playoffs, or we get bounced, in the 1st rd or something, he's not getting fired?

    I didn't know that Reddick had already interviewed twice for a HC position. I'm guessing that, he didn't exactly blow anyone away, during his interviews, with his "brilliant basketball mind"

    So he's brushed up his credentials since then, by being on TV, and doing a podcast with Lebron? LOL..SMH

    I guess the typical Lakers thing to do here, would be to interview all the candidates, and then probably pick 3 of them, to be on the coaching staff, and flip a coin, on which one gets the HC job. I smell a cluster**** coming. Hell let coach K pick the coach..
