I hope this was a scenario where he actually just bumped knees and is 100% fine, rather than the type of scenario where his ability to play on it in OT was just adrenaline and now it starts swelling up.

Monster game though, and love to see him tough it out.

I’d feel better if we sit him tomorrow regardless though.

Great game for AD, this early to be getting scares on he and LBJ......

AD is 15% in 3s so far coming off a 25% season. He needs to shut that ish down. 33% the 2 seasons before, he ain't got 3s in his repertoire (his corner 3s are ok)

I have missed games like this from AD, so good to see. That said, he’s gonna be the death of me

I’ve been saying the same thing since he got here- stop with the threes!!!!
Sit him out tomorrow night. I thought the season was done when I saw him down, again.

The dilemma of AD at the 5. Great stats, and banged up by the end of the game. I thought we took control of that game when Howard came in, lost it when he came out. Still AD had a great stat line, but some no name center had a good game for the other team too. I guess everything involves some kind of trade off.

Yeah AD had a great game, LOVED the 17 boards, and we don't come close to winning without him.

But he also made Jakob Poeltl look like Jokic out there. 27 / 14 for a B level 5 is not encouraging.

didn't see the game: was AD even matched up with poeltl much? he could have only played 14 minutes at center, total, and poeltl starts and thus played at least 14 of his minutes against jordan. also, based on the shot chart, he was just getting dump offs at the basket. unless you're telling me that popovich just fed him in the post one on one against AD for all those buckets, which would be pretty sad.

in other words, without having seen the game, i'm dubious that poeltl's explosion was AD's fault. and poeltl was a -14 on the night, too.

Almost all of Poeltl's points came on him rolling to the basket on the P&R. It was a simple basketball play. I'm not saying AD was responsible for all of it, and maybe it is a flaw in Vogel's P&R scheme, but several times AD switched to the ball handler and let Poeltl slide to the basket for an uncontested pass & layup. After the first 10 points, someone should have made an adjustment and shut that down.

The good news is that Poeltl has no chance guarding AD.

Vogel's P&R scheme is going to make every big man that plays for us look bad at times. I'm starting to realize that this isn't always all on the player at the position. This has been going on since he got hired. AD is usually just better at doing it than anyone else.

He is listed as questionable, and so is Ellington. Nunn and Bron are out for sure. No need to mention Ariza and THT, right? ;)
