This would be a good time. With a healthy AD we just need to be in the top six which we can do. With how Lebron is playing and if AD back to form no team in the west is beating us in a seven games. If we add Bojan we are the best team period. In this no defense league we would be blowing up the scoreboard.

It gets easier after that. Easy schedule to finish the season.

Unless Lebron and Russ miss the last half of the season or something, there is no way in hell, that we are missing the playoffs with a healthy AD.

The bone spur breaking off isn't the issue: it's the stress reaction on the bone it was attached to the (navicular) that is the concern. He doesn't need the bone spur for anything but the navicular is a key foot bone which if it fractures is a whole lot of time lost. This is the reason for them slowly upping his activity and then gauging the foot on how it reacts

Right, he had a bone spur that broke off, the bone it broke off from had a stress reaction to the break.(swelling, pain)

That's understandable, however if he's been running pain free for two weeks, I'm not sure what else is there to guage, without him actually playing.

Practicing against Jones might give him a false sense of readiness

Lol..Jones probably puts up more resistance on D, than Bryant or Gabriel one on one though. He most definitely has fresh legs.

Can we unleash both AD and Rui against the Spurs tomorrow?

Hope so..been quiet on the AD front but I'm sure the TNT guys will have some fresh info. Think I saw where Rui could play, I'm expecting Lonnie to hit the floor tomorrow too.

It's really important he comes back for the East road trip. These moments are always good to create some chemistry, bond and build momentum

After that we have crucial games with OKC and at Portland. We also play the Bucks (probably fully healthy), Warriors (same) and the Pels (with whom we finish the road trip). And then it's the All Star break.

It's 10 games that if we manage to be around or over the .500 mark, we are set for a big late half of the season fully trusting that we can be in the top6.
Important because after the break we have a stretch of GSW and Memphis twice, Dallas, OKC and Minny.

Much of our season is played in this month of February/early March
