So far one confirmed shooter, male. Killed 5 and injured 8 more. He's now in custody. Rumors of another shooter on location as well.

He had a gun in his luggage which he picked up at baggage claim, loaded it in the bathroom, and then shot up the baggage claim area. There's no clear motive at the time although he had been discharged from the National Guard for "unsatisfactory performance". Apparently he and his girlfriend had been fighting in Anchorage Alaska (where he was stationed) and Santiago was getting counseling. Once he ran out of bullets in his 9mm, he lay spread eagle on the ground waiting for the authorities. He was not harmed. Someone reported gunshots in the parking lot/structure, but that was false. Santiago was operating alone.
