I think it is very possible... Look at the NBA game....10 years ago a guy shooting 38%-40% (for example Ray Allen) from 3 was considered dead-eye shooter. Back then average/solid 3 point shooters would hit 34-35%... Look at the NBA today...you have like a million players shooting around 40%....and many shooting 43,44,45%....These days shooting 38% from 3 is at best average. If this trend continues, in 10 years chances are they have to move the 3 point line back a little bit lol.
I’m not a very good 3 pt shooter, so I’m just impressed by hitting almost half of the shots under duress. Will it translate to the big stage? We’ll see. It’s a low cost temporary feel good move when so many guys are out and tons of offense missing. I hope he scores 20. That’s be pretty cool.
