I guess I'll start off this thread with a negative review. I had high hopes for this beer, a pumpkin ale aged in rum barrels...16%abv. Sounds great right? It's a very well crafted beer that tastes how it should, I guess... but it's just really sweet and syrupy. No hops to be find. it was like a mead almost.
This is not technically "adult", but on my recent visit to Kenya I discovered a non-alchoholic Ginger Beer that I loved.
Ok, when you are replying look in the tool bar directly above the reply box. In the little box third from the right click on the square immediately to the right of the smiling face. When you mouse over it, it will say "Image." When you click on it there will be a pop up to enter the url of the image you want to post.

One of my all-time favorites, Saint M Riesling. I like most Rieslings from Germany, they are super sweet and very smooth. I am happily discovering that Washington has some good ones as well, Forty Days and The Woodlark are two I've discovered recently.
This... I don't drink as much as I used to but I tried the above a few weeks ago. Tasted good. Now...I'm thirsty.
Beer: Belgians, Hefes, and this time of year pumpkin stuff. I think Three Philosophers, Trois Pistoles, and any Trappist Ale are at the top of my list. Liquor: Gin (Bombay Sapphire, Gordon's), I like Macallan, I like Bacardi, and I kinda love Hennessey. Wine: I don't know; I'm happy to learn. My daughter just turned 21 this year. We drink cider together.
I haven't had that for nearly 40 years. I turned 18 in Texas and was legal to drink. Southern Comfort was the "cool" drink of choice. I had way too much way too often for a couple of years back then.
I love me some la waters...drink recipe in case anyone is interested http://www.goodcocktails.com/recipes/printerfriendly.php?drinkID=1074
I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to adult drinks but lately I've been digging mixed drinks like Rum Chata with Frangelicos. Non-mixed drinks I mainly like ciders Angry Orchards being one that I'm drinking more recently.
I had my first beer at the age of 42 about a month ago. Turns out it wasn't one of the good ones lol.
I've gained too much weight from beer since I turned 21 When I first started getting into beer, I exclusively tried getting into good craft beers. Then I realized how expensive that was getting and now my tastes have regressed . I can honestly say I enjoy Bud Lites now. Anyways, lately I've been drinking a lot of these. I know I'd probably be better off making my own micheladas, but these are very tasty and only $2 for a 25 ounce can.
Anyone getting overwhelmed with all the pumpkin inspired beer now? A couple years ago my local spot was selling maybe a handful of pumpkin beer. I went about a month ago to pick up some beer to sit in the fridge for Thanksgiving, and now my spot has about 25-28 different types of pumpkin beer.
I'll have to try this soon, I've heard good things about this from a few people now. Passes the eye test at least now I'm thirsty too
