I rather LeBron leaves for DAL than flat earther comes to LA .Do we really need Kyrie or it’s all a plan to keep LeBron happy ? Don’t we need couple of big men since AD got eaten alive by joker ?

This s*** is ridiculous man, LeBron isn’t going to Dallas, Kyrie isn’t coming here. And I’m f****** sick of Kyrie using us for leverage every free agency and trade deadline as well, imagine if he were ON the team how often he’d screw with our FO because he’s a mental case.

We HAVE to be missing several chapters to the new CBA. Cause so far, from the little we've seen, the players got f***ed. Royally.

The only benefits for them I've seen so far -- they can smoke weed, invest in weed, invest in gambling and in NBA/WNBA teams. That's it.

Are they just planning on taking it until the new TV money floods in and then go on strike?

Right. There has to be something because this looks like a slaughter from the owners.

normally, i'm definitely on the eff the owners side, but the thing i like about the new cba is that there are actual team-building consequences to certain actions instead of just financial consequences for owners. they've proven they'll blow right through anything to get the ring. it's an ego thing for these guys. they know they'll sell the franchise at a whopping profit even if they lose money on operating it for years. at least now they can't count on getting a rotation player at a discounted vet min to bolster the bench every march.

i'm also way past tired of the big three/superteam b*******. i didn't want kawhi here; i don't want kyrie here. we have two stars; most teams don't even have one, tbh. the game is more interesting when it's not two team USAs and a bunch of also-rans hoping they get injured.

edit: love stein showing up and throwing cold water on everything. he remains among my very favorite nba reporters because he's not an idiot and/or an obvious shill.

when shams and haynes came out, you know it was favors for future access, period.

of course even stein missed the point that dallas couldn't have traded for lebron this year, anyway, which is among the dumbest things about this very, very dumb situation.

they should drop DLO,MB and Mo.Then they would have money to upgrade through free agency

I definitely don’t disagree with you here. I’m just genuinely curious what the players feel like they got out of this deal and what they feel like were wins for their side.

5 years and 272M for 31 years old past his prime whack job Kyrie. Have fun with your off season Marc.

Lol..bunch of nonsense. I guess the Lebron to Golden State or even Portland ideas will stop popping up soon too. It is rather interesting that the Mavs were supposedly preparing a Lebron trade offer last season though.

Fwiw this 2nd tax apron at 179 million dollars would only affect two teams next season. The Clippers and Warriors, it doesn't seem to be this big deal folks are making it out to be.
