    Depends on what Boston gave up. It won’t be Tatum, but if they gutted the team for KD, I’m very ok with that.

    Yeah, IF this happens I don’t mind it as many seem to. Brown was a key piece last season, their defense was the key to their run, as was their health and depth. KD is a great player, but he isn’t what he was, he’s 34 and post achilles injury, he couldn’t even get the Nets ONE win vs that Boston team last playoffs. If they give up a good chunk of their depth, they’re counting on Durant to be healthy and be that guy, and I just don’t know how much longer you can count on that with him.

    Cannot confirm this. Fact that terms of the deal were not disclosed leads me to believe it's not true. But I could be wrong!

    What I am hearing is the Nets and C Bags had some discussions but were unable to make meaningful progress. Much like the Nets, and well, everyone else!

    Note that this could change in an instant once the Nets drop their ask!!!

    I heard a deal is done but the Nets are thinking about it while the C Bags say no, with the Lakers in the running and Danny Ainge having interest.

    I actually thought they were favorites already with getting Brogdon. Brown is very very good (outside of his handle). Durant is obviously a better player but Brown/Tatum took it to him. Brown is only 25: he's got another 5 years of being an elite 2 way win. Durant and his injuries is a big risk here when you're already going to be awesome.

    Kawhii to Toronto is not the same as Brown is younger then Derozan and Durant older then Kawhii

    Usually, I see an Asian name and go uh-oh but I see Vin The Insider reported Harden to Philly on Feb 9 and all other reports were the 10th, so, who knows.

    I am hoping this goes through because of how little time Durant has left on top. I’m no GM, but if I ran the C-bags and had such a powerful young core able to compete together for the next seven to nine years, having a real chance at a Chip every season, I would not blow it up for an older snake like Durant.
