can’t have Lebron and KD on the same team. KD would have even worse cred than when he went to Golden State.

That deal would depend on how much the Hornets want to be rid of Rozier and how much Mitch likes us. Fans are ready to blow it up here though.

I’m sure Mitch has warm fuzzie’s for the Lakers and the guy Jeanie gave his job to after firing him …. Kobe’s influence or not.

But WTF for old times’ sake … Do it Mitch

We didn’t bid against ourselves, what can you do. Nets preferred to deal with Dallas

A look at this season's stat comparisons between Kyrie, FVV & Rozier:

    stats2.gif

Kyrie is clearly the better shooter, Van Fleet more assists and steals than all. They all take the same amount of 3s and all of them are off on their career avgs from 3 this season (-4% Rozier, -3% FVV, -1.7% Kyrie).

Kyrie is off the market so:

FVV & Rozier both 28 years old

FVV has a P.O. for 23 this summer.
Rozier paid 23 & 24 over the next 2 years

    FVV is 6' to 6'1" with a 6'1" wingspan
Rozier is 6'1" with 6'8" wingspan, this is a huge difference but FVV has a lot more steals, fast hands.

FVV 115 def rating In his 3 prior seasons, he ranked 1st, 1st, and 2nd in deflections per game.
    Rozier 119 (lower is better)

That's alright. As I said before -- great risk, great reward, but after being disappointed one again with how our guys played (against NO last night) I am not sure ANYTHING/ANYONE is a great reward at this point. Get some good fitting depth for god's sake. Meaning, get on the phone with TOR and CHA and see if there's anything that can be done to rescue the team from the sea of "minimum mercenaries."

Dallas got 2 mega-star pgs with huge egos to boot hahaha, oh I can just see the clashing now. And Kyrie is now in a perfect geographical place to go back into his Hitler's Youth mode.

BTW, this is similar to how Luka is going to look like; pre- and post- Kyrie:

Well, he has to be doing something. Whether it's actually going to turn into nothing is another matter completely.

Don’t they both thrive with the ball in their hands? Should be an interesting short term experiment. If it fails, Dallas loses a bunch of assets potentially for nothing unless they do a sign and trade.

They do, and it's not a great pairing, basketball-wise or personality-wise. But it will be interesting to watch for sure.
