for the college guys in the know, who would you target with our pick? I prefer prospect that has the modern day C potential, rebs/defends and an outside shot here and there. I know we got Moe on deck but we'll need another for sure as Mcgee/Chandler aren't going to be long term solutions (I doubt we can afford to reup Mcgee if he demands a boat load of $)

    TRADE ANYBODY FOR ZION.

I'd really like a front court player that's actually dedicated to defense though. We have the offense, but we need a leader on defense.

I dont think we got any chance at Zion and even so, I dont see the fit, to me he's an uber athletic Randle, I dont see the perimeter game from him

Have you seen him play? His first bucket was literally a three pointer. He's not just limited to dunks and power game. The kid is ridiculous controlled for his size.

He's far superior to Randle in pretty much every facet, it's not even close.

well not saying he's not better than randle but again we got no shot at him unless something terribly goes wrong this season.

Zion could be a Randle stopper.

Zion is the 1st pick by a wide margin, we have no chance at Zion.

I think he's more Larry Johnson than Julius Randle. Zion has drawn (not unfair) comparisons to Barkeley.

I would think Gafford is our target in the mid-1st if we stay there (I don't know that we will). He's massive, athletic, and mobile. I liked him a ton in the last draft, but he waited (smartly) for this one.

He's amazing but he might not even be the best PRO prospect on his team. That RJ Barrett fella, impressive.

Zion was built out of a lab or something. He's going to clown so many college players. When only 1 player in the NBA is heavier than Zion, that's Boban, how do you think he's going to fair against college kids, especially with that freakish athleticism. Haha

David Stern would come out of retirement to stop us from getting Zion if someone actually made that deal. lol

RJ reminds me of TMac, with a little bit less athleticism. Just a really solid all around scorer and frame.

The way Zion is able to fly around at his weight is just gravity defying. It’s almost young Shaq like, though Zion isn’t as tall, but definitely more skilled.

Time to get this back on page 1.

Gimme a shooter. The good ones are slumping, so hopefully that'll give us more options wherever we're picking.

Don't think we'll be quite bad enough to get Reddish (PG13 comp) .

I'll be happy with Keldon Johnson (McCollum comp)

    I think Zion is overhyped.

There is a possibility he is S. Kemp 2.0. He is über athletic but I don't think he will be a superstar without expanding his game severely.

He's a freak and fun to watch, his success is good for the league. Don't know a whole lot about the kid, but he seems much more humbled than the last guy the media obsessed about since his HS days.

Athleticism can carry him for awhile. Bron and Blake have relied on strictly athleticism for the bulk of their careers thus far.

I'm still of the opinion that if the Suns get the #3 pick, we try to trade Lonzo and our pick (hopefully we tank down to #10) to move up. Phoenix wants a PG badly and they do reportedly like Lonzo. That's gives us a top 3 pick to move with Kuzma and Hart to try and acquire AD. If we have Lebron, AD and Ingram, it allows us to start signing some solid contributors to fill out our roster. We can stop playing this cap space game.

Well, it wasn't really that something went terribly wrong. It was actually several somethings went terribly wrong.
