I'll confirm my "short, white" bias against him then with your first hand observations. Was his brother short too? White?

It’s not even that he’s short, it’s that he’s small too. There are 5’11 guys who have made it, but you have to be super fast, or have crazy leaping ability, or be ripped, or incredibly crafty, some kind of edge to help you out. I’ve seen David play many times watching G-League games, he’s just an average G-League player, solid, nothing more. I don’t see him ever sticking in the NBA at his size, he’s made for the G-League.

Beal and two way contracts... yeah, that's a ghost town of a market.

still think washington has little reason to consider trading him this year unless someone just blows them away (like offers as much as AD and PG went for).

curious to see if any competitors try to grease the wheels for memphis on an iggy trade to a different spot. it would be risky, though, as i think he'll be bought out no matter what. i'm guessing he's not at all amused about memphis holding him hostage when they never had any intention of him being part of their roster this year.

I'll say it, I'm kind of desperate to have him here.

Same, his skill set would be huge for us. The Clippers getting him instead would also be a big blow, he’s a super valuable glue guy with multiple championships.

:D I got a “new” phone and it hasn’t learned all my words yet, the auto correct isn’t perfect. Fixed now.

don't you hate that?? Happens to me all the dang time. I'm not one of those guys who give people real grief over misspelling a word. I could care less, but when I see a skillet joke, I just can't resist!!!

If he’s choosing like that, then I don’t care what he does. I’m not waiting to hear him say he grew up as a youngster aspiring to play for the clippers one day. He knows what the Lakers are about. You in or not...
