I think we're on the same page. I'm definitely all for bashing Trump. For things that are real.

My biggest issue is how immature he is. The name calling, the facial expressions, the thin skin. Do I think he knows the economy? ABSOLUTELY! Do I think he'll do great negotiating with other countries? YES! But he has no clue about foreign affairs. I got $100 that says he can't name 5 countries with nukes. I bet he can't name 10 world leaders and point to those countries on a map. But if elected, I know he'll piss them off. LOL

Then I won't vote, but I can't be someone to have to admit that I contributed to Donald freakin Trump being president of the United States. The very thought is shameful to me, it's disgraceful. It's like a bad joke and a horrible nightmare you can't wake up from at the same time. I don't like Hilary, but I'd rather our country not look like a joke and a laughing stock for electing the "you're fired!" guy than just have a bad president. We can survive bad presidents, we have before. I'm just saying if I had to vote for one of those two, no way in hell is it Trump. What's next, the entire panel of Shark Tank for all the other top offices?

Lol, is there any situation the Simpsons isn't good for a quote, gif, or video? And I mean only the first 9/10 seasons or so, man I love that show. And hey, even if Trump or Hillary are the president, we still have classic Simpsons episodes. And for nerds like me, a Star Wars movie every year or possibly every 6 months at some point. What a time to be alive.

I mean just look at the videos John3:16 posted. I believe in my heart of hearts that Hillary Clinton is an awful person. She's motivated by greed and power and is willing to destroy anyone in her path. She's every bit the "racist" that Trump is, but because she's a tremendous politician she's able to doublespeak her way out of corners. Basically the same problems that Trump presents, I think Hillary does. The difference is Trump will say it to your face, but Hillary will stab you in the back.

This is one of the reasons people say Trump is racist. He had a chance to distance himself from the KKK and David Duke three times here, but chose to play dumb.

I don't think it proves he's racist because I think he wants votes, and he's not morally upstanding enough to take a stand against part of his base (and yeah, KKK don't vote Dem, Cruz and Rubio ar not white, so they are part of Trump's base). Look who's playing politics now.

Romney went off on Trump today. If he showed the same fight vs Obama he'd be president right now.

Oh he's been skating the fence on almost anything. He has very few actual opinions because if he voiced those opinions, he'd lose votes. He's on the fence with Israel, he's on the fence with Planned Parenthood, he's on the fence with basically anything that's not immigration.

I don't think he's a racist for not distancing himself from the KKK, I think he's just stupid. I mean really you're going to protect your support from the KKK in order to protect how many votes? Last year the KKK claimed to have 5000 members and how many of them will actually take the time to vote? Compare that to the millions he could have swayed by just saying, "I don't need the support of that guy and his racist friends."

Stupid and strange that he didn't take that stance.

I thought it was funny he was calling out Trump's lack of substantial plans.

Oh really Mitt? That sounds familiar.

Back before the GOP whipped up the republicans into a fanatical frenzy, talking points were much more reasonable.

I agree with you that Hillary is awful and evil.

But what you said at the end of your post is actually a huge deal. I'd rather have a snaky tactful politician dealing with foreign affairs than having Trump directly proclaim all this stupid stuff. Politicians from other nations are used to dealing with other politicians that will try to stab them in the back. Trump is something else.

At this point, any of the GOP outside of Trump would likely have my vote against Hillary. It would be a reluctant vote for Rubio or Cruz, but an enthusiastic vote for Kasich.

I think Bernie's got this though.

I'm officially petrified of Trump winning.

    So immature and unprofessional.

I have an idea for a poll. Wondering about creating a new "general politics" thread. Unfortunately I fear there may be a lot of overlap with this thread.

What is the poll? Maybe we can add to this thread?

What are people saying about this debate? Because I feel the same way, that he was further exposed as a con-artist who resorts to childish antics to win over his base ... but I felt the same way after the last debate and then he won Super Tuesday...
