Sometimes you need a do not like button. But in the interim, what you do is press like, and then "unlike"

    It makes you feel better.

Well with all due respect he did do a lot wrong. I'm as compassionate as the next person and the next Laker fan about the state of Lamar's life, but at what point do you stop feeling sorry for him and at what point does he need to take responsibility for his actions in order to move on and grow?

Heck, his wife left him because of these demons. If this isn't rock bottom for him, nothing is. The entire world watched as he tried to drive his closest friends and family members away and die in the desert surrounded by strangers. It doesn't get any clearer than that that he needs serious help.

I've read he's likely going to need that kidney replaced and he'll have a heck of a time doing that. Addicts don't generally get new organs because everyone knows they're being wasted.

It's time to get your f***ing head on straight Lamar. No more prostitutes, no more running from your problems, and certainly no more f***ing drugs that have crushed your career, your marriage, and your life. Time to grow up now buddy.

Odom is mentally ill. Telling him to grow up at this stage is the equivalent of telling a person with missing legs to stand up. He doesn't have the strength to. Some people just aren't strong mentally or physically as others. It will take years of counselling for him to fix his head IMHO.

I stand by what I said. I'm not saying leave him alone, I'm not saying don't help, I'm not saying he doesn't need rehab AND therapy both physical and mental.

I'm saying he needs to take responsibility just like any addict ever. You ever tried to help an addict that doesn't want your help?

I sometimes think we should just start over. Wipe the humanity and reset.

I hope he is able to let some people in, and accept their love for him as genuine, and not be afraid they will leave too. He has a lot of emotional healing to do, and basketball was always a bandaid that would eventually fall off. It took Mike Tyson quite awhile to find a happy place, but he's doing ok now. (Some different issues, but lots of personal loss) Hopefully Lamar has made it through the tough stuff.

Wow, that's a lot worse that I expected given the pretty positive reports we had heard for a while. I guess anything Is positive considering he's alive and not brain dead.

Well, this may actually save his life and take him away from drugs forever. Little things to be thankful for.

I honestly don't know how to feel about Odom's connection to that family. I'm not excited that she's doing interviews on television about his status. Seems distasteful.

But I'm okay if he doesn't know what happened to him. He'll find out eventually but right now I'd like him to be focused on his lengthy lengthy recovery process.

if he eventually knows the real reason that put in him this place. I agree that now probably isn't the time but when he's stronger and better Odom needs to know the truth.

Geez, I didn't know her boy friend was James Harden. Talk about awkward. But props to everyone involved and actually I think its a positive it is James Harden because he's got to be able to have a sensitive side for his bball friend in Odom. But yes, very strange situation

TMZ reported Odom, "shocking" doctors, took three steps without his walker on Dec. 17. TMZ also noted he has "limited range of motion in his hands" and "his brain function is slowly improving."

Good to hear. Keep getting better Lamar. Long road ahead, but certainly that's a good start.

LO made his first public appearance at MSG for Kanye West's album debut and fashion show. He looks good and I'm glad he's doing better.

That is very good to see. The last reports we were getting months ago as seen on this page made me think he was severely brain damaged and would be in much worse shape right now than he looks there.
