    I was kidding. :D

I honestly don't care what they do. I hope they continue to crash and burn and nobody helps them.

I seriously doubt we land Durant or any other prominent FA.

oh, morey's always got hinkie in his pocket, plus the fools in sactown. they're going to do something in the coming days. i'll be curious to see if they're willing to cut into cap space to do it, though. if not, they may not have much chance of significant improvement.

You think he'll try to send Coward to Philly? For what?? That'd be pretty interesting although there's nobody talented enough on the Sixers right now to help them for the playoff run? Unless Houston just gives up on that altogether.

really hard to make howard to philly work with all their tiny salaries (lol). their highest paid player is landry at 6.5 per, i think.

were it possible, an embiid/landry for howard type deal would be really interesting. morey-ish gamble, too.

Yeah but are they willing to give up? They're in the playoff race still. Is Morey willing to punt away?

At least it's an interesting deadline for once.

I guess it wasn't as fun and the big party he thought it would be while the winning came easy at the same time in Houston. But hey, he's still a champion already in his own mind. Jacka**. Checking clutchfans forums, at least half the fans seem happy as we were to hear they might be rid of him. I remember they were so thrilled when they got him, ha ha so naive, we warned them.

If Howard couldn't win with a team hand tailored to his weaknesses and strengths (Orlando), it's stupid to think he's going to go anywhere else and magically win it all.

    Dwight with LAL/Kobe: 17.1 Pts 12.4 Reb 2.4 Blks
    Dwight with HOU/Harden 16.6 Pts 11.7 Reb 1.6 Blks

Also played in LAL while coming back from that injury which he whined about a lot. This is why Howard has always needed another leader who doesn't accept any whining or BS.

...went there and reveled in their misery. I remember when they were touting him to be their next great center with the likes of Malone, Olajuwon and Ming. Wrong! So wrong!

Wow. I would've never guessed that. And coming off injury where he couldn't walk around the block a couple months prior.

But... but... but Kobe is a ball hog.

Yeah, seems like all his struggles here were due to playing with a bad back for our sake as fans when he shouldn't have, and Kobe and our coach holding his game back. Riiiiiight. Reality is he simply isn't that skilled, and when the athleticism starts to go this is what you get. Some great nights here and there, but mostly solid ones for a supposed superstar, nothing more.

I would offer Hibbert for Howard....then send Howard to the D-League for the rest of the season.
