You're right. it's his 18th. ESPN is reporting it's his 19th. He missed the strike shortened year they didn't have an ASG and his rookie year.
Oh Man that Was a good read from Henderson. I have a sneaking suspicion that Kobe may want to continue in some important capacity with the Lakers. He said something to that effect around 5-6 weeks ago. Irregardless of what all else he has aspirations of doing with them, and what the FO might be interested in letting him do for "Kobe" level pay to keep him motivated .... I have a feeling he might want to and enjoy working with our talented players like DAR and Clarkson. Like Nash is for GS. When he's in town and in the mood for hardwood and hoops. Hope so. What a wealth of knowledge and skills to teach and share. Keeps some of his basketball Jones satisfied as well.
Can't believe it's been a decade already. Boy does time fly. What an unbelievable performance. Greatest performance of all time in my opinion by one of the five greatest players to ever pick up a basketball. We have been blessed.
Easily the greatest scoring performance ever witnessed. My mind still wonders if Kobe played in the 4th quarter of that 62 point game against Dallas. I think he would've broke 90.
Still remember this game like it was yesterday...what a performance. I remember betting my friend $100 that Kobe would do it again in under a week & he was too afraid to shake my hand, that's how good this guy was, incredible.
10 years, wow. That means I was 13, heart broken after just watching my Broncos lose at home to the Steelers in the AFC championship game. Took that loss hard, I was young and bawled my eyes out. Was hoping for a Lakers win that night, just 3 hours after the Broncos lost. Ended up witnessing the most amazing sport outing ever. Kobe made 81 look so easy to get. The fire and grace he played with that night. I've never heard Staples so loud from my TV, and don't think it ever will. Just hoping Kobe goes out there tonight and puts up 30.
