Not likely and if Kobe doesn't as much as I love him he has nobody to blame, but himself. We can blame Byron all we want and certainly he deserves criticism, but at the end of the day Kobe knows his body better than anyone and he should know that he shouldn't the pushing things right now.
He wants his goodbyes now. To hell with making it through this season, he'll try to play for a half tonight and pack it in when he tightens back up. We all know Kobe is too stubborn to miss playing one last time in these stadiums. It just isn't going to happen that way. He'd rather sit out every home game until the last one in order to play his last games in each stadium.
Imagine trying to take a car with 350,000 miles on one last road trip of the USA. Except your car needs multiple repairs before even making it to the east coast.
He said he's going to run until the wheels fall off His way or the highway. I guess we shouldn't really expect him to change. He is who he has always been.
I can't see this ending well. At his age with his milelage he should take a week or 2 off, but if he's not gonna, oh well he's made his choice. I can only hope nothing happens, I want to see him finish his final season standing.
24's like those vintage wheels... A lot of wear so you can't push it too far or you're calling Triple A.
That was a great tribute video. That said, he needs to take a break, he's going to get injured, he doesn't look like he's moving well out there at all. He's Kobe, so of course he's still gonna hit some awesome shots and look ok even if hurt, but it doesn't mean he should be playing.
Awesome of Jerry to present that tribute with the video with the mutual respect they have for one another.
