S**** getting old. Making great comebacks and having a tenacious mindset only to come up short and not get the win.

Be nice to get that Westbrook & Harden call at the end of the game for Kobe too.

You can't give up 3 layups and a dunk in the last 2 minutes of the game and expect to win ...

It was a foul on Durant .

That being said I'd have gone for the win ( no way we win this in OT) and the length of KD is a bad matchup for old Kobe .

Should have called a play for JC off the ball as Westbrook is always falling asleep off the ball

Boron said the "play" was Brown could choose Kobe or Lou on his inbounds pass ... then it's freestyle !

What do you expect? The Thunder are a top three team in this league. The fact we were even in this game without Russell is amazing in itself. Yes I wanna win, but against teams like Golden State and OKC and that's not realistic and at least we made the Thunder sweat a bit unlike the first two match ups.

Back to back exciting, entertaining games that came down to the wire. My only WMC is that we didn't win either. But still, good games nonetheless.

We've been godawful for three years, and we've lacked a killer instinct for another one or two beyond that. It takes time to cultivate that mentality, especially when the biggest winner on your team has missed more games than he has played during that span. But this is WMC, so let me do a bit.

Why didn't this click sooner with this team? If we started the season the way we're playing now, we'd have double our wins.

    My WMC?

I'm concerned that if our team starts playing too well, they will somehow rationalize keeping Byron Scott around longer.

I honestly don't think there's any way that Byron could stay this summer barring a surprise run to the playoffs.

We can only hope, realdeal. If he is brought back I may turn in my Lakers card.

I just can't possibly see a justification for it. He was stubborn, unhelpful, tactless, but more importantly he's now captained three of the worst Laker records in NBA history. The last two years we could sit back on injuries as an excuse, but this season he's had a mostly healthy squad and done WORSE. He's the worst coach in the NBA and he's leading a team that's last or nearly last in almost every statistical category. He's not fostering a winning culture. Hell he's not even fostering strong relationships with his players.

There's no justification for keeping him. None at all.

I'm just starving for wins. That is all. Frustration got the better of me, we're getting better and I should be thankful of that.

The title of this thread should updated, from "WMC", to "FML".

Byron is sucking the life right out of the Laker faithful. Sad, but that's what is happening.

Cleveland beat the 70centers by less than we lost to the jazz.

WMC: Huertas played too many minutes tonight and I can't even blame Byron for it

It hurt my eyes to watch this game. Just horrible, putrid ball. The starters put up like 9 points in the first 10 minutes and it didn't really improve much afterward either. We are just anemic offensively without Kobe and Russell. 74 points on 32% shooting, ouch.

Yea that guy doesn't belong on an NBA floor.. he had his prime and it seems he did well for the Euroleague.. but he's not made for the NBA at all. I can't believe they didn't cut him the other day when they had the chance and look for a tall player scrub back-up player...

It's hard to watch honestly, he's in way over his head.

He will have the worst 2 records in Lakers history when this season is over .

Didn't coach in 13-14 though ( which will become the 4th worst record in our history)
