I'm assuming the pieces you are talking about are either one or a combination of Russell, Randle, or Clarkson. And if that's the case, unless the impact players we are trading for are named Steph Curry or Lebron James, I think i'll pass.

I think it would be more effective to just heckle him endlessly from wire to wire....like doomsday fanatic on a street-corner style, just non-stop naming his horrible statistics and everything he has been doing wrong.

The front office was hesitant in hiring him though, weren't they? They brought him in for like 4-5 interviews. I think they didnt' really like what they heard from him but they started running out of the time and he was the emotional (former laker) choice so they went with it.

Well, its time to fix that mistake.

No, I am not talking about Randle, Russell, or Clarkson.

I don't see a Laker coach there. All I see is crap.

Outside those 3, who exactly are we going to trade to land an impact player?

    Nick Young or Lou Williams.

We got Jeremy Lin for basically nothing last season. Same thing happened with Hibbert this past offseason.

^^ You could also add in Bass who is on a very affordable contract, and/or Sacre and Kelly along with Nick or Lou. Personally I have my doubts that we would trade Lou who we just acquired. I think it would be Nick going out who also has a pretty affordable/attractive contract.

And neither of those two are/were impact players.

My point is outside our 3 young guys, we don't have assets that would land us a player that will definitely help improve our record. If anything, it would just land us someone of lateral talent in a different category. And all this is moot, because we have a horrible coach and a horrible system. Hibbert for example, was brought in to help us win some games and revitalize his career, but he's not properly utilized and honestly will probably bolt come offseason.

We probably wouldn't get a star, but that's okay. That's what free agency is for. You have to start building. Yeah we may not get a more talented player, but we could get someone who is a better fit for this roster. That in itself can improve the team along with a better coach.

Kobe's got that shoulder wrapped up and iced. Has he been doing that? I don't remember seeing that. Did he re-injure it today? He was shooting well in the first half (quarter actually) but didn't do so well afterward.

He's been icing that shoulder at other games too. It's just maintenance.

Same s**t different day. Not sure how much more of this I can take. We get off to terrible starts. You look up and we're down 10 to 15 points in 4 to 8 mins. Then we open the 3rd quarter and get further behind. It's nuts. Why do we continue with these lineups that SUCK?

The Lakers make 1-2 passes around the perimeter in what appears to be their "offense" then they just end up in the same spot they were before and take a tough shot against the shot clock. Just awful.

**** Scott. 29 3PA tonight and 27% made. We take only 4 less 3 point attempts per game than GSW but we're 2nd to last in 3pt % (2/100th of a % off of Memphis for dead last). The other teams that have terrible 3pt %s take FAR fewer 3pt attempts. Memphis, Mini and Brooklyn take 16-17 per game we take 25.5 per game. Philly takes a lot too, but you know, they're Philly. Jim Buss is supposedly a numbers guy, this should give him a clue. The league is mad at Philly, Adam Silver is mad at Philly, I'm not seeing the big difference here other than Philly has been at it a little longer than Jim Buss. Mainly it's because we still bring income to the league but it's a ridiculous standard. I can only hope Silver is going to point a magic wand at us this summer for players and BS goes bye bye.
