The offenses are so complex, and the defensive schemes so sophisticated that players today can't keep up with genius coaching minds like Byron Scott. :Mitchthumb:
lol @ you guys wracking your brains with FA signing scenarios... it's fun but lest you forget with Boron as coach all we will get are mercenaries, and not the good ones I'm afraid. We are now the clippers, laughingstock franchise with idiots at the helm.
Colin Cowherd Full Show 12/23/2015 http://www.iheart.com/show/The-Herd-w-Colin-Cowherd/?episode_id=27414435 Woj starts at 29:40....
Basically. Woj is clearly alluding to Durant. I still think a guy like Batum is reasonably attainable though. He's no superstar. He'd be the equivalent of getting Monroe was this summer, so yeah there's still a good chance he'll choose elsewhere, but there's a chance there anyway if you offer max type money.
So we really showed Durant why he needs to come to LA...with two losses by an average of 37 points, how could he possibly not see what we have cooking here.
Only if they are really tearing down and starting over. Might be if they are willing to trade all their bigs. That's about as white flag waving as you can get.

Don't think that will happen. He's young and an up and coming player. If anything, they would build around him. I think their collection of bigs get traded first.
He recently called out his head coach. He tried to clarify the comments; nonetheless, I think he misses Thibs. If we hire Thibs, and Butler don't 'fit' with what Hoiberg is trying to do, you never know.
I really don't want to trade our future picks and try to tank to keep them as what would happen if we try to trade for stars. Let them come through free agency
Jimmy Butler is a beast. With the right coaching, I feel like he could be on the cusp of making a Kawaii Leonard-like jump. He's pretty good already, but there's still a lot of potential there.
