Well you can still love the memory of him shooting long Js on Showtime fastbreaks. I consider that BScott as one of my favorite players and this Boron a totally different person. Easy

Anthony brown got more minutes than randle.... And the same amount as DAR? Seriously? Okay, I'm beyond mad... More at the FO... How can they continue to allow this garbage? Grow a pair, and admit the mistake, and get rid of this idiot head coach plz... Our team is too talented to be 4-5555555783647... This is not acceptable

"The coach can't play the game."
    --but can he coach?

    The Brown starting move
-I love to see us give a young guy a chance, but that's why I think DA, JC, and JR should be starting every game. Brown looked lost in the D-league. It was setting him up for failure to start him.

    Black Doesn't Play
-I don't get it. Stash for future cheap contract? I think you're more likely to run him out of town. He was one of the 15 best rookies last season, and now he can't get on the court on an even worse team with less depth at Center and PF.

So Kobe is out. There are quite a few names that I can think of that I would start in his place other than Anthony Brown. Just saying.

To get embarrassed by the Floppers on Christmas day wasn't really necessary .

    ESPN LA 710:
Company man Ireland didn't defend Byron for last game, saying you can't put the blame on the players but its more of the fault of players, coach and management. Players the least and then management and then coach. Players for quitting after the first quarter, management for not adding talent to the team (which I disagree with actually) and the coaches for not preparing the team properly.

Also Ireland and Katz were saying, Byron is trying his best impression of Phil or Riley, trying to attack them to get them to play harder. Katz saying that doesn't work with guys so young and how it could affect them mentally in the long run, Byron doesn't have their respect for that method and how those methods are outdated.

I don't understand how so many people can sit there and act like this roster wasn't upgraded talent wise. It was a significant upgrade in one offseason. Mitch did a terrific job with that. There was no reason they couldn't contend for a playoff spot no reason other than having the worst coach in the NBA. We added both young and veteran talent which is a great recipe for some improvement.

Katz is correct. Although, Randle and Russell, in particularly are very confident; they'll be fine. I'm confident another coach will instill the right habits in those two and Randle and Russell will be willing to put in the work to address their weaknesses; Clarkson included. We're good. Scott on the other hand? Well, it's about wins and losses; this isn't Cleveland. A second straight season that's on pace for worse than last year while having a more talent, relatively decent health, and a soft schedule to start the season? Yeah, he's gone next season. I think he knows that and he's well aware of the expectations in the city of Los Angeles; that said, I think he knows he's gone

The only positive I can squeeze out of all this is I don't think B0ron will get another head coaching job after this again, so he won't be able to hurt anyone anymore. That, and if we actually DO hire a good coach next time, Russ, Randle, and JC are going to appreciate them a little extra.

Who is the next Gregg Popovich or Rick Carlisle? Let's find and hire that guy.

There's absolutely ZERO justification for starting Anthony Brown. I mean, I can't think of one reason to make that move. And yet, our head coach thinks it's a brilliant move. AND gives him more burn than Julius Randle. Disgraceful.

This really cannot be allowed to continue much longer.

You hit the nail on the head. And to believe the front office interviewed this guy three times. Clearly they have no clue on how to hire a coach. It may take an outside mind for them to make a good decision next year.

BScott talks a good game, but when it comes down to it, he's the Hurricane Peter McNeeley of Basketball coaches.

    No, that's not a compliment.

They interviewed 4 times, but who's counting? :). Anyway, Scott is who he is; he hasn't and won't ever change; there was plenty of evidence to go around reflecting his past tenures as coach; some of which included: horrible win/loss record, his penchant for throwing players under the bus without accepting responsibility for his actions, holding players accountable, and his teams ranking bottom or near bottom in both offensive and defensive efficiency...what more evidence did you need to avoid this hire?

That's where my frustration is placed; within the FO and ownership who let emotion get in the way of making a sound basketball decision. What do I mean by that? The process of hiring Scott came down to the Buss kids ultimately deciding that Scott would be the right man for the job. Jeanie, who spoke on the hiring at the time cited her dad's desire to hire Scott in the past but the timing was never right. So, in her genius, she marketed this hire as something her dad would have done and brought out show time crew to validate this hiring and sell it to the fans. You know what? It worked too perfection.

What's even more disgusting about all of this are the events that led up to the hire. Scott was on TWC and Magic was on twitter while D'Antoni was coaching and both Scott and Magic were criticizing his every single move. I don't like D'Antoni, but Scott made it a mission to harp after every single game on TWC. He would go incessantly on what he would do and give this disgusted look after every Lakers loss giving the impression if here were coach that we'd see a better basketball product on the floor if he was coaching. Well, how's that going now? We're 4-23. Oh, and no peep from Magic except an "LOL."

Scott is a clown. He can take his platitudes, his 'man up, compete every night, and give more effort rhetoric,' and shove it up his a**...
