Don't get me wrong; DA is a much better defender, but Huertas is given the team when he's on the court. He dishes assists like nobody's business.

Can anyone tell me what DARs shooting percentage is in the midrange game. I'd say in the 5 to 18 feet range. From what I can tell, he doesn't miss many from that distance and I don't want layups to influence the % and I don't want 3s in there, because he doesn't have that range yet (not consistently).
DAR is actually shooting 37.3% on midrange jumpers, which isn't bad for a rookie...especially on this team. Lol. He was unassisted on 77.3% of those makes.

As soon as 82games gets its butt in gear, I'll post defensive efficiencies. I think we'll see Huertas getting roasted there.
Marcelo seems like such a nice guy and a decent offensive point guard. But man o man he gets eaten up alive anytime he's out there on defense.
I like Marcelo too but if he plays he needs to be out there with Hibbert and maybe Nance (lobs anyone?). But nah, when we saw him in preseason it was with Bass as a way undersized center and Ryan-frickin'-Kelly.

it's funny how far off my eye is from what these numbers say about huertas. in the preseason, sure, but since the season started, he's looked overmatched every second he's been on the floor.
Win Projection Mine: 13.72 Pythag: 18.04 Composite: 16.03 That would be one of the worst seasons in NBA history; right?
yes. off the top of my head, philly's 9 win, then maybe someone had 11 or 12 and few have had 13 (including some of the putrid pre-Cuban mavs teams). even as low as 15 is fairly uncommon. good news is that it's a sure thing they'll keep their pick. oh wait...
