I'm talking after the Achilles injury ... acting like he was still the best player in the league ... Never adapted and never will
He actually gave a very good interview, seemed at peace even if frustrated. He said he was really frustrated tonight, it really got to him and he lost his "zen". Also liked how he said you can't have all those years of bravado in the good times and then cower away in the bad times, have to take both.
Kobe should take a 2 month paid leave. It would be better for him and the team. He'll return relaxed and content to ride to the sunset. He just is a laughingstock now. Like an incontinent grandpa, shatting his pants and can do nothing about it.
I get his point, it's a hypothetical, but right now he'd have trouble scoring 80 spread across 4 games. And averaging 35? Maybe if he took 40-50 shots a game.
I almost lost my s*** when he took a terrible three, missed badly. Next time down actually made a three. And then on the next trip down shot another three. Like why, what's going on in that brain of yours that thought that was a good idea. Luckily I remembered I was in public.
I never thought we would be witnessing this point of Kobe's career... he just absolutely SUCKS. I wonder how he can't use all the skills that he undoubtedly has to do anything. It seems like without athleticism he can't even beat me. Absolutely embarassing right now for him I'm sure. The wheels have long fallen off.
I honestly do think the way kobe's playing right now is all Byron. That is what Byron wants Kobe to do, just jack threes. Kobe's too smart, and Byron's too big a moron for anything else to be true.
Totally disagree with this. Byron has said that Kobe's earned the right to do whatever he wants. Nobody could persuade Kobe to play a way that makes him suck this badly. He's doing whatever he thinks he can but nothing is working. GS has a swarming defense full of athletic guys. Kobe took the only shots he thought he could make.
