Byron Scott is being patient with Lou??!!! Lou, thank you for being patient with Byron. We all hope your pain will be over soon.
Only a veteran guard. I guess because he was a guard and has a soft spot for them. Bigs, he'll f*** you, your minutes, your rotation, your mojo, and what position you all to hell.
Watching live... man the shots he takes are awful. Just terrible. And he's tops 6 feet tall not 6'3" or whatever he's listed at. Very small and when he's not getting calls, his scoring just looks terrible.
That contract may end up looking REAL bad by the third year. If Russell and Clarkson continue to develop, 7 million for a dude who may not be getting any time at all will look like that Walton contract from a few years ago.
^ Luke owes us though Watch him rip his jacket after the GSW-LAL game, showing Lakers uni underneath. Come on over baby!
I'm not that high on Lou. He's like Swaggy but with a worst shot but elite ability to get to the line. He doesn't create offense for others whatsoever, and his D is mediocre at best. I don't think it's his fault though, he is what he is. Boron is playing him too many minutes, with little direction, and he should be playing sg.
I think Lou could actually flourish under a more systematic coach who reins him in instead of encouraging him to run the show.
I was glad they signed him, now, today I'm not sure. He was effective as a backup to two all star guards, on the Lakers he's arguably their best guard, that's not his game, not how he'll be effective.I'm not too sure how he relates/ gets along with Russell and Clarkson which has put pressure on Scott to give him big minutes where he has failed.Last two games his minutes dried up with Scott finally playing who needs to play, I see some drama ahead...2-11, soon to be far worse, opens wounds on teams.
Lou is good, as an off the bench scorer not a primary ball handler/creator. But try telling that to Byron.
