I have/had a bunch of trophies. They mean nothing now.

No one will ever be able to take away the fact he won that award, or the respect he earned from others, or the sense of pride and accomplishment that came from it.

I love that he's doing what so few would ever consider doing. He might stink as a player now lol, but he's got an amazing heart for people.

Anthony Brown didn't even set foot on the court.

Metta shouldn't be inactive, Sacre should be inactive.

He changes the demeanor of the team. Those magical hands. More playing time for Metta.

I don't wanna get too excited because it WAS the Nets and their offense is pretty terrible....but Ron Ron does bring that energy on D, and with a team full of guys that showed no effort first few games....this kind of energy is infectious and guys really feed off of it. MWP is good for 15 minutes a game like he was tonight....

Ron looked good out there. Active hands, energy, moved his feet, really had an impact defensively. Gives us some toughness. Really good work tonight. Definitely needs to keep a spot in this rotation.

He should be playing at least 10 mins a game. His quick hands defensively are still there. He's everywhere on the court. Throw him at the wing player that's hot.

He hit a 3 and the back of the rim on another....certainly no worse than what Kobe has been doing, and at least Metta isn't "heat checking" after 1 make..... and chucking them up there early in the clock with 2 minutes left and only a 5 point lead.

He took 3 shots, and didn't make any major mistakes that I saw. Don't see how that's awful on offense, he did his job. As for defense, hmm, defensive spark in preseason, defensive spark tonight, shocker. That said, I still don't know how he'd do against quicker, better teams, the Nets are garbage. Here's hoping he gets a few minutes at least and he plays well though.

He can still be effective in limited minutes. Byron just has to figure out how to use him.

High praise all around, even if he plays little, he's valuable

Indeed, young Metta was something else, and luckily for him he played in a league where real defense was a little more allowed.

Loved the moment when he grabbed all the young guys into a huddle during a dead ball. Its no coincidence that his first game was the game we won.
