Instant offense. If he keeps this up, he's a lock to repeat as 6th man. Loved what he chipped in with last night. Take note Swaggy, outside of your buzzer beating 3, that's how it's done.
Actually that shot was on line it just rimmed out. Just a teeny bit to the left. It should have gone in. I liked how 24 trusted Williams with that corner trey. It worked one out of two times he did so. He is not just a catch and shoot player. Williams can create too. Deceptively quick off the dribble and can get his shot off with a defender hanging over him.
Kobe stares at Lou intently for 5 minutes and then says, "you're welcome." Lou leaves, vowing to never shoot a game winner again.
You mean when ole Byron is not playing Bass at the 5? I think the problem is they are paying him more than Black and probably had some agreement as to playing time when they were in negotiations. Sucks for Tarik, who himself might be ready for some level of a personal break out season, only being his 2nd one of course. He was in the gym all summer too.
Yeah,we honestly have enough offense with Lou and Nick coming off the bench. Black will provide more defense than Kelly.
We had a decent look for Lou to win that game. I have no problem with that shot. Last night: I thought Lou was good again.
Just me, or is his defense pretty solid? He's pretty quick laterally on D, stopped a few drives, and on at least one possession he got back on a fast break and stopped a layup right at the rim.
He's good. Nearly a two way player. The problem is we rely too much on his one on one skill. He and Swaggy need a point guard.
Lou is good, except that he is not a shot maker. He is a below average shot maker in this league but can get to the FT line at will...which is a plus. He is definitely a good weapon from the bench.
Yeah, Lou should not be handling the rock. At the same time, having Huertas and Lou in at the same time is a MAJOR liability on defense. Need one of JC or Russell to be setting him up and playing next to him.
I feel a little bit for Lou. Most of the time we give him the ball and expect him to make miracles happen. Why? Why not run some plays for him? He didn't like this exact same role in Toronto...
I gotta give props to Lou because this is the 2nd game Stu and Bill have mentioned his shooting hand being really messed up and swollan after the games. Something is going on that neither the coach or media know about because Lou is just suiting up and playing. He's never been a 50% shooter but he's never really been this bad from 3 especially. There is more going on here.
Honestly I say rest Lou and let him get his hand better. More minutes for the younsters, it's win win. Then again, this is Byron we're talking about, so he'd probably give Huertas all of their minutes (not that Huertas shouldn't get SOME minutes, you guys know what I mean).
