Him jumping over the bench was great, dangerous but it got the team pumped. It opened all the young guys' eyes, a 36 year old veteran is putting his body on the line in a preseason game! I think he'll be good in spurts with monitored mins. Lead by example and get in the head of some players. A front court of Hibbert, Bass and Metta would be tough to score on.

Not surprised that he, 24 and Hibbert worked well as a combo last night. As a trio, they will set the tone and then the newbies can be comfortable enough not to think it is all on their shoulders.

While also showing them that they need to pick up the intensity if they want to win games.

Yes, opponents will not just show up thinking they can punk our crew as they please...at our floor and theirs.

...and wipe that smirk off some forward's mug across the hall. I'm so looking forward [no pun intended] to that.

Ron looked decent. We are sot hin at wing currently. He may be able to give us some minutes at the 3; the 4 as well at times.

I agree. I've seen Metta out there a few times trying to play tough D, and guys fall down and get a foul. Bunch of flopping, whining, soft babies, and the league and refs enable it.

    Also agree.

Also why Randle needs to be more careful and not pick up offensive fouls. He can easily send someone flying.

I finally saw the video of MWP calling the NBA soft right now on #Lakeshow, and it was brilliant. He's so right, and it's kinda sad. Can't find the interview video online, but if you can see it, see. The way he mocks parents whining for fouls, and players today doing the same thing, classic Ron. Some more direct quotes than we got the other day

The whole article is a good read too

This made me laugh too, same old Ron

Ron is just genius, he really is. I love the guy, what can I say? He's still the best post-game interview of all time after the championship against Those Guys.

I like the belief. Even if they're in for a reality check, you still want that belief, otherwise what are you out there playing hard for every game?

I love this guy. If he's nothing else he's a great quote and a positive presence. I've really come around on him being a part of this squad.
