man, the Upshaw/Sacre thing is really interesting as fan of basketball. you've got the guy who has very few physical gifts aside from height, but has all the right stuff mentally--both in terms of hoop iq and relating to others. and you have the guy who has all the physical gifts and hasn't been able to bring it together. I'd hate to be mitch come decision time. I know the fans want the guy with the higher ceiling, but data suggest that a proven mentality with minimal physical competence is worth more. the question with sacre is whether he has minimal physical competence...I'm not sure... I'd probably drop Kelly and play tarik some at the 4. let sacre show Upshaw what will looks like.
That's fine with me, abeer, as long as we lose at least one of them. Want to keep Sacre for 6 fouls and cheerleading, ok, kick Kelly to the curb then. We can't afford 2 roster spots wasted on these guys.
Bresnahan was, as usual, pretty negative about the Russell bruise. Everyone else said it wasn't that big of a deal. Great job @RandleROFY posting all this stuff. What I heard was that Kobe looked like himself, Clarkson looked great, and guys looked more winded today. I'm guessing Byron scales things back a bit with tonight's practice.
Loving the updates guys, thanks. I don't Hibbert has ever averaged over 30 min in a season, so there is going to be good competition for floor time. I'm looking forward to hearing about who earns it!
